Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and provide rewards or disciplinary actions
- foster a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to promote job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and create a welcoming atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
- assist staff with operational duties as needed
- champion sales activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover and sales metrics
- greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- enforce OSHA and local health and safety regulations
- maintain cost controls and profitability
- monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness
- handle cash control, inventory, and scheduling
- manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
- ensure proper use of equipment and maintenance of facility and assets
- perform other duties as assigned
