Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and reward or discipline employees
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape the restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to team
  • Assist team members as needed
  • Champion sales-building and suggestive selling activities
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health, and safety codes
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash handling, inventory, and scheduling
  • Manage profit and loss including food and labor costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control for food cost management
  • Optimize employee schedules and monitor labor through scheduling tools
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
