Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior leadership experience required
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- ability to work various shifts and weekends
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- familiarity with OSHA and safety regulations
- ability to maintain professionalism and serve as role model
- basic business math and accounting skills

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- foster a positive culture and high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and encourage a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to the management team
- cascade corporate programs and initiatives
- assist team members with duties as needed
- champion sales-building activities and promote suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues ensuring 100% guest satisfaction
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- enforce safe work behaviors for guests and staff
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
- review financial reports and employee schedules, taking corrective action
- manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
- oversee weekly inventory and portion control
- optimize labor schedules using company tools
- ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
