Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in a family, fast-food, or casual dining setting
  • Knowledge of OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift, push, carry, or transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands for tasks

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations following company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work among restaurant staff
  • Appraise employee performance and implement reward or disciplinary actions
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance job performance and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and maintain a hospitable environment
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Promote sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety regulations
  • Enforce safe work behaviors among employees
  • Monitor quality food preparation and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, financial reporting, and scheduling
  • Manage food, labor, carryout costs and other controllables
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and conduct weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor scheduling using company tools
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and assets
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
