Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independently owned and operated McDonald's restaurant franchise. Unlike McDonald's USA, which operates corporate-owned restaurants, this franchisee runs the restaurant under a license that permits the use of McDonald's logos, branding, and food products. However, the franchisee is a separate business entity responsible for all employment matters at this particular location, including hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and employee supervision. McDonald's USA has no involvement in the employment decisions or human resource policies of this franchisee-operated restaurant.

Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years old
  • previous management experience in quick service restaurant or related field
  • ability to lead and motivate teams
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to upholding high standards of quality service and cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience running high-volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants strongly desired
  • experience in hospitality or retail preferred
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • ability to set goals and develop teams
  • excellent communication skills
  • at least 18 years of age to qualify for management

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant ensuring the highest standards of quality service and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting goals coaching and providing direction
  • monitor department progress and implement improvements
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
  • oversee daily operational functions to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • ensure compliance with health safety and operational policies
