Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years restaurant or cafe supervisor or team lead experience
  • Availability to work at least 50 hours per week
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve

Job Duties

  • Positively contribute to culture of hospitality and professionalism through teaching, supporting and leading by example
  • Hire front of house team members considering competencies and characteristics required
  • Provide timely and thorough onboarding, training, development and coaching to team members
  • Be an active presence on the floor during each shift supporting staff and interacting with guests
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Veggie Galaxy's policies and hold team members accountable
  • Work with ownership to develop, implement and maintain a strategic growth plan
  • Ensure consistent use of systems including opening and closing procedures
  • Communicate with Kitchen Managers on food-related issues
  • Complete daily office tasks including cash reports and order placing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe and healthy work environment
  • Represent owners' vision and philosophy to achieve service, hospitality and sales goals
  • Work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Be systems and numbers driven while balancing team needs
  • Take pride in developing and caring for team to reach full potential
