Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a general manager in the hotel industry
- Strong understanding of all hotel operational departments
- Availability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, and talk regularly
- Capable of lifting and moving 10-50 pounds
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Commitment to uphold brand standards and guest satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- Previous general manager experience
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of sales, marketing, and revenue management principles
- Experience in hospitality operations including food and beverage is a plus
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to drive financial results through strategic planning and operational management
- Local market knowledge preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including sales, marketing, human resources, food and beverage, budgeting, rooms, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Provide vision, leadership, and strategy to inspire associates to deliver exceptional service and achieve financial success
- Execute successful sales and marketing campaigns and apply dynamic revenue management to maximize profits
- Build and develop effective teams that foster a positive work environment and enhance employee performance
- Manage strong relationships and partnerships with hotel owners to support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, safety, and quality controls
- Adapt to varied shifts and operational demands for round-the-clock hotel management
