Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years supervisory experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening
  • Must have general knowledge of state and federal employment laws
  • Ability to quickly learn and train others in Wendy's systems
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with noise and temperature variations
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling and stooping
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure and giving sound advice
  • Must take and give direction and work well in a team
  • Must exhibit professionalism and discretion when resolving customer concerns
  • Flexibility to work a 50-hour work week including all dayparts and days
  • Ability to travel to other restaurants as needed
  • Must have and maintain ServSafe Certification
  • Must have reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Maximizing store sales goals versus budget and prior year, including participation in marketing programs
  • Evaluating store performance at specified intervals using company inspection forms
  • Analyzing restaurant performance data to make recommendations for developing and implementing appropriate plans
  • Managing assigned store requirements for new product rollouts and procedures
  • Ensuring protection of the Wendy's brand and assets through store compliance with company policies
  • Training, monitoring and reinforcing food safety procedures according to company policies and health regulations
  • Coaching and retraining managers and taking corrective actions with support from district manager
  • Managing food, labor and paper costs and other controllable expenses
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints within the restaurant
  • Evaluating store performance and implementing action plans to improve store ratings
  • Conducting regular managers' meetings to communicate priorities
  • Ensuring People Excellence culture by developing subordinates to maximize contributions
  • Executing proper training and development through current systems and practices
  • Ensuring achievement of staffing levels by recruiting, developing, recognizing and retaining management and crew
  • Preparing and conducting performance feedback and appraisals
  • Taking corrective actions related to customer service or performance issues
  • Ensuring continual improvement of quality, service and cleanliness standards
  • Utilizing the Customer Experience Playbook to delight customers
  • Diagnosing service issues and directing managers and crew to resolve them
