Job Requirements

  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Must be certified Moe's Manager
  • Experience in managing restaurant operations
  • Ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • Leadership skills to manage 15-25 team members
  • Strong communication and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • valid drivers license

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints and take necessary actions to retain customers
  • provide direction to team members on operational and procedural issues
  • maintain an accurate staffing needs plan and conduct interviews
  • develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • enforce sanitary practices and food safety standards including ServSafe and Moe's Manager certifications
  • manage food flow to maintain quality and reduce waste
  • ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards
  • ensure proper security and a safe working environment
  • manage shifts and investigate mystery shopper reports
  • adhere to Sterling standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • analyze monthly P&L statements to improve profitability
  • accurately complete all financial reporting
  • book one spirit night per month and engage in local community involvement
  • perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
