Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum of 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts and weekends

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work of staff
  • Appraise employee performance and administer rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • Address employee complaints and resolve staff problems
  • Cultivate and maintain high employee engagement and shape a positive restaurant culture
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior to create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and forecast variances to management team
  • Implement corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Promote sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations through cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health, and company safety policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors among staff
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards daily
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage scheduling and budgeting through labor scheduling tools
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
