Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years of restaurant industry experience preferred
  • prior leadership experience required
  • knowledge of OSHA and safety codes
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work varied shifts and weekends
  • strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • computer literacy
  • physical ability to handle job demands
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • reward, discipline, and terminate employees as necessary
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and promote employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • assist with category job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor daily activities for quality and cleanliness
  • control cash, inventory, and food/labor costs
  • manage scheduling and financial reporting
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
  • perform other duties as assigned
