Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior leadership experience
4-6 years of restaurant experience preferred
College or culinary schooling preferred
Must comply with state alcohol service age requirements
Available to work varied shifts including weekends
Ability to stand for entire shifts
Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
Ability to use hands for handling tools and controls
Ability to bend, stoop
Ability to taste and smell
Ability to verbally communicate effectively
Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
Ability to access all areas of the restaurant

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior leadership experience required
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
College or culinary schooling preferred
Knowledge of restaurant operations and management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to train and develop team members
Skilled in conflict resolution
Proficient in computer skills
Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects
Basic business math and accounting knowledge
Committed to exceptional guest service
Availability to work various shifts and weekends
Ability to be a role model in appearance and presentation

Job Duties

Manage daily operations of the restaurant in accordance with company policies and legal regulations
Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
Plan, assign, and direct work
Appraise employee performance
Reward and discipline employees including termination
Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances to the management team
Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to management and staff
Assist team members with job duties as needed
Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
Meet and greet guests
investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
Enforce safe work behaviors to maintain a safe environment
Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
Control cash, inventory, food, and labor costs
Review financial reports and schedules and take appropriate actions
Manage food cost by following recipes and portion control
Conduct weekly inventory
Optimize labor schedules and monitor sales performance
Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment
Maintain facility and company assets
Perform all other duties as assigned
