Job Description

This position is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not by McDonald's USA. Although this franchisee operates under a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, the franchisee is a separate entity and employer. This means that the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not control these aspects and will not be involved in employment decisions or receive copies of employment applications.

Job Requirements

must be at least 18 years old
experience running high volume restaurant locations
ability to lead and motivate teams
strong decision-making skills
commitment to maintaining high customer service standards
capability to manage staffing and scheduling
knowledge of operational restaurant management

Job Qualifications

previous general manager experience managing high volume locations
background in quick service restaurants preferred
experience in hospitality or retail management valued
leadership and team management skills
excellent communication and organizational skills
ability to set and achieve goals

Job Duties

run a profitable restaurant
ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
lead and develop Department Managers
follow up on Department progress
provide coaching and direction to improve departments
hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
