Job Requirements
- Professional presentation and demeanor

- Ability to attract and foster quality staff
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work more than 40 hours weekly, often 50-55 hours
- Experience leading in kitchen and dining room operations
- Ability to walk and stand for approximately 10 hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Moderate exposure to extreme temperatures
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Alcohol Servers Permit if required by location
Job Qualifications
- Four years management experience in full-service restaurants
- Minimum two years as a General Manager
- Black Hat or Black Apron certification preferred
- Ability to work under high stress
- Extensive kitchen experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Hands-on leadership style
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills and multitasking ability
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Support the mission, vision, and values of First Watch restaurants
- Develop and maintain a culture of accountability, integrity, service and trust
- Develop a management team for future growth
- Provide management coverage and direct supervision of operations
- Exercise shift-to-shift financial control to meet sales, revenue, and profitability goals
- Provide hands-on leadership working all positions and giving daily feedback
- Ensure excellent customer service and respond to customer feedback
- Ensure policies, procedures, and training are followed
- Participate in certification and development of team members
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Participate in manager meetings and corporate calls
- Manage internal and external communications effectively
- Oversee cash deposits, supplies, and budget adherence
- Ensure compliance with health inspections and safety regulations
- Conduct hiring activities and recommend new hires
- Hold training classes and product training sessions
- Review paperwork accuracy and participate in budgeting
- Monitor P&L statements with the team
