Job Requirements
- Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant field is desirable
- Relevant experience in business administration, logistics, transportation or a related field
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients
- Financial management and cost control experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of transportation technology
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to organize work efficiently
- Ability to navigate labor relations issues
- Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7 environment
- Compliance with DOT drug testing and physical standards
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to sit for extended periods and walk long distances
- Ability to push and pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise
Job Qualifications
- Completion of a four-year college degree in a relevant field is desirable but a combination of relevant experience and education will be considered
- Experience in business administration, logistics, transportation or related field preferred
- Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients
- Ability to manage cost control and financial budget
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of technology, apps, Wi-Fi, and transportation technology
- Strong written and oral communication skills with excellent presentation skills
- Ability to influence people at all levels of an organization
- Ability to organize and perform work efficiently with strong attention to detail
- Ability to navigate labor relations issues
- Flexibility to work shifts as needed
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physical requirements
Job Duties
- Builds relationships with employees, client, union partners, and local community
- Sets commercial and operational strategic direction as per client contract
- Leads management team and workforce to achieve safety, service, and financial goals
- Identifies and develops business growth opportunities
- Optimizes asset return including vehicle scheduling and maintenance
- Analyzes KPIs to maintain positive results
- Ensures services are delivered within budget and improves operational efficiency
- Determines and delivers business unit budget
- Ensures compliance with state, federal regulations and corporate safety standards
- Oversees staff management and training in liaison with corporate
- Ensures effective environmental compliance and sustainability management
- Provides accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Performs other duties as required
- Requires less than 5% travel outside immediate area
