Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Has been a General Manager or equivalent
- Ability to listen effectively and give/take direction
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable with computer functions expected of a manager
- Good communication, organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to recognize problems and problem-solve
- Ability to speak, read, follow, write and comprehend instructions and policies
- Ability to work in a diverse workforce
- Ability to set goals and convert plans into action
- Must safely operate commercial equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with physical demands
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, clean driving record and up-to-date auto insurance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Proven experience as a General Manager or equivalent role in restaurant operations
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to listen effectively and give/take direction
- Competent in computer use and managerial software functions
- Skilled problem solver with the ability to recognize and resolve operational challenges
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and policies
- Comfortable working in a diverse workforce and fast-paced environment
- Capacity to set goals and convert plans into actionable steps
- Experience managing commercial equipment safely
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
Job Duties
- Maintain highest operational standards in cleanliness, safety, and restaurant procedures
- Oversee food, bar, and hospitality services ensuring guest satisfaction
- Coach and train for excellence in catering and off-premise event execution
- Manage facility cleanliness, preventive maintenance, and repairs
- Handle sales forecasting, labor scheduling, inventory management, and administrative tasks
- Full P&L management including building sales, controlling expenses, and optimizing efficiencies
- Engage in local relationship building and community marketing
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard team members
- Lead, develop, and mentor team with a focus on culture, compensation, and recognition
- Develop succession plans and retention initiatives to promote leadership growth
- Oversee performance management, team evaluations, and career development
- Ensure safe operation of commercial equipment and compliance with safety standards
- Manage scheduling flexibility including evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed
