Job Requirements
- Education at least associate's degree or higher
- Minimum five years of related foodservice management experience
- Proven track record in foodservice management
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budgets and financial reports
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in computer usage including Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels
- Flexibility to work varied schedules as required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology, Management, or related field preferred
- Associate's degree plus five to seven years of related experience considered
- Minimum of five years retail operational foodservice management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation
- Experience with profit and loss accountability
- Multi-unit management experience preferred
- Supervisory, leadership, and coaching skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and various computer programs
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Manage overall operation and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments
- Ensure achievement of financial goals and targets
- Take ownership of daily operations and ensure service timelines are met
- Manage financial planning, budget development, analysis, and reporting
- Maintain professional interactions with associates, peers, managers, suppliers, clients, and customers
- Conduct management meetings and training sessions
- Audit units for compliance with food safety, sanitation, and record-keeping standards
