Job Requirements
- At least five years operations management experience
- Two years management experience in cultural, iconic, amusement or museum attraction preferred
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle boxes up to 35 lbs
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage financials including budgeting and sales forecasting
- Flexible and adaptable in fast-paced environments
- Computer literacy for standard office tasks
- Must be 18 or older

Job Duties
- Coach, supervise, direct all department managers to meet operational needs daily
- Schedule management personnel as necessary
- Assist management team in developing training standards for alcohol service, customer service, safety, harassment
- Host all management team meetings and conduct training sessions
- Work with Executive Chef, Retail Operations Manager and Buyer to track, maintain and budget inventory and cost of goods
- Act as main liaison between the client and SSA
- Maintain close relationship with client and client staff to ensure positive working relationship
- Coordinate with marketing to enhance guest experience and operational output
- Attend client meetings and report to Regional Manager
- Manage compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
- Uphold and demonstrate understanding of company policies and procedures
- Oversee financial management through budgeting, forecasting and sales/per cap management
- Manage invoice processing and ensure fiscal deadlines are met
- Provide reports for cash reconciliation, flash reporting, inventory and payroll
- Conduct business assessments and sales forecasting
- Manage payroll and controllable profit within guidelines
- Strategize to minimize controllable costs and maximize revenue
- Implement SSA EXTRA Guest Service for memorable guest experiences
- Manage day to day functions of all applicable departments
- Maintain knowledge and enforce contract terms with client
- Support progressive discipline documentation
- Keep operating manuals updated
- Review and approve plans for major special events
- Manage menu design and pricing
- Lead long-range planning for department programs
- Manage capital projects to client and SSA expectations
- Handle all business legal needs in partnership with HQ
- Ensure proper employee integration and exit processes
- Promote inclusivity and support within the unit
- Oversee editorial content on unit publications
- Drive sustainability and conservation efforts
- Support community engagement and hiring efforts
- Perform other tasks as necessary
