This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, distinct and separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's brand logos and food products, operating the restaurant under McDonald's celebrated standards, but maintains full responsibility as the employer. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior General Manager experience in high-volume quick service restaurant or similar environment
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to set strategic goals and implement plans
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a General Manager in high-volume locations
- Background in quick service restaurants preferred
- Experience in hospitality or retail also valued
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to set and achieve operational goals
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- 18 years or older to qualify as a manager in corporate-owned locations
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant while ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership and create plans to achieve them
- Lead and support Department Managers by setting departmental goals and providing coaching
- Follow up on department performance and drive improvements
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build a strong leadership team
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and employee discipline
- Oversee daily operations to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
