Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive catering or food and beverage management experience preferably in a large-scale convention center hotel or stadium environment
  • Union labor management experience required with a strong understanding of CBAs scheduling and grievance resolution
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume events in a large hotel or convention center with over $15 million in annual food and beverage revenue
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management business administration or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of catering and concession operations from corporate meetings and galas to large-scale conventions and trade shows
  • Manage union staff in compliance with collective bargaining agreements fostering a positive and productive working environment
  • Lead train and mentor a large diverse catering team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships ensuring flawless execution and high client satisfaction
  • Partner with culinary leadership to create and execute innovative menus
  • Drive financial performance by forecasting budgets controlling costs and maximizing revenue opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and labor regulations
