Job Requirements
- Completion of four-year college degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in business administration, logistics, or transportation
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficiency in budget and cost control management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- Compliance with DOT drug testing regulations
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Capability to handle physical job demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree in relevant field desirable
- Experience in business administration, logistics, or transportation preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Ability to build strong client relationships
- Proficient in cost control and financial management
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of transportation technology and apps
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to navigate labor relations
- Flexible with shifts including 24/7 operations
- Subject to DOT drug testing and physicals
Job Duties
- Builds relationships with employees, clients, union partners, and the community
- Sets commercial and operational strategic direction according to contract
- Leads management team to achieve safety, service performance, and financial goals
- Identifies and develops business growth opportunities
- Optimizes vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and asset performance
- Analyzes key performance indicators to maintain positive results
- Ensures services stay within budget and improves operational efficiency
- Delivers and manages business unit budget
- Ensures compliance with state, federal regulations, and corporate safety standards
- Oversees staff management and development training
- Ensures effective environmental compliance and sustainability management
- Collects, compiles, analyzes, and reports data
- Performs other duties as necessary
- Travels less than 5 percent outside immediate area
