Job Requirements
- Able to work a standard 47.5 to 50 hour work week
- able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
- able to work the days and hours scheduled by the General Manager or District Manager
- able to work long hours
- able to stand for long periods
- able to work around heat
- able to work closely with others in tight spaces
- able to move throughout the restaurant and observe operations and employee work performance
- able to lift 50 to 75 pounds comfortably
- able to work with various cleaning products
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years management experience preferably in a restaurant setting
- basic knowledge of computers
- financial and analytical aptitude including planning, budgeting, scheduling and profit and loss management
- strong organizational, planning and time management skills
- proven team building abilities
- excellent problem solving skills
- good verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Model and create an environment where the guest is always right and ensure a positive guest service experience
- respond positively and quickly to guest concerns
- hire high quality people who demonstrate and ensure consistent guest satisfaction
- ensure all employees are trained and empowered to deliver total guest satisfaction
- evaluate each employee's ability to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction
- continuously improve the skills, knowledge and morale of all employees
- train, coach and provide regular performance feedback including positive and corrective feedback
- maintain a fun and enjoyable working experience in the restaurant at all times
- develop and execute the business plan including fiscal responsibilities, manpower planning and local restaurant marketing
- utilize labor effectively to meet budget
- be responsible for financial results
- execute company-wide marketing programs
- enforce all labor laws including federal, state and local
- uphold company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements to ensure health and safety of guests and employees
- model and encourage shared company values
- be completely focused on and driven by the guest
- demonstrate high personal integrity and treat all employees with honesty, respect and dignity
- be performance oriented and driven, communicate performance expectations clearly, measure results, recognize and reward good performance and be intolerant of poor performance
