Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or culinary school certificate or equivalent
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in Corporate Dining General Manager role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- ServSafe certification
- Choke Safety certification
- Allergen Awareness certification (MA)
- Ability to lift or pull 40 pounds

Job Duties
- Direct and assist the Chef Manager and hourly staff in menu writing, cost control, food production, execution and presentation
- Treat the cafe as your own business ensuring quality of all food products
- Oversee all aspects of catering operations, assisting catering team as needed
- Assist with food production including grab and go items, desserts, breakfast and lunch specialties, executive catering needs
- Maintain vendor and client relationships
- Manage supplies, equipment and work areas
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
- Work with Chef on purchasing food or supplies
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements
- Oversee payroll processing and financials
- Work alongside staff in cleaning and kitchen duties
- Ensure compliance with safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform and productivity standards
- Manage department expenses and adhere to budget
- Generate financial reports and perform P&L analysis
- Develop operational forecasts and manage unit accounting
- Oversee inventory management and update price fluctuations
- Provide direction and manage performance of employees
- Motivate employees with communication and encouragement
- Instruct, train and mentor staff in cooking, presentation and customer service
- Provide superior customer service and lead by example
