Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • Available to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to use hands for handling objects and controls
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and move freely in restaurant areas
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Ability to see with close, distance, color, peripheral vision
  • Ability to adjust focus and depth perception
  • Compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and promote high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm, friendly atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, investigate and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food preparation and cleanliness
  • Control cash, inventory, food, labor, and review financial reports
  • Manage food and labor costs including scheduling
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
  • Perform other duties as assigned
