Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- one to three years of foodservice management experience
- strong leadership and team management abilities
- solid understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- proficiency in cash handling and financial controls
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- computer literacy including MS Office
- commitment to customer service excellence
- availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in food services technology/management or related field or A.A. degree plus three years of related experience
- minimum one to three years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred
- strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing and presentation
- experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services desirable
- cash retail operations experience
- retail marketing experience highly desirable
- supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to communicate with management, customers, and associates
- knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting, and computational practices
- proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, email, and internet use
Job Duties
- Plan and supervise special functions
- maintain cash controls and payroll records
- oversee hiring and training of hourly team members
- ensure customer satisfaction and manage public relations
- direct staff to provide retail services per corporate policies
- train staff in customer service, portioning, cashier skills, and safety/sanitation
- complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time
- communicate effectively with team members and customers
- implement and maintain cash handling standards to prevent theft
