Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of restaurant management experience, quick-service restaurant preferred
  • Experience running shifts autonomously
  • Ability to work a minimum five-day workweek with at least four closing shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices
  • Understanding of federal and state labor laws along with local health and sanitation regulations
  • Leadership and supervisory skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic accounting and computer skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Willingness to adhere to appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards at SONIC

Job Qualifications

  • Prior management experience, preferably in restaurant or retail
  • Positive attitude under pressure

  • Associate's degree in business or related field preferred

  • Managing profit and loss statements to exceed financial goals weekly, monthly, and yearly
