Job Requirements
- Work a flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available to close the store at least once per week
- Attend business meetings and conferences with overnight and interstate travel
- Maintain valid identification for airline travel
- Frequent use of computers and related office supplies
- Mobility throughout the store during shifts including bending, pushing, reaching, twisting
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 25 pounds during shifts
- Continuous walking and manipulation of objects during shift
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
- Proven financial management skills including sales growth, budget managing, and expense control
- Experience monitoring inventory, operational excellence, service culture, and merchandising
- Leadership skills in attracting, developing, and motivating teams
- Ability to adapt to change, lead through transitions, and build collaborative relationships
- Proficient in point of sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills for multitasking
- Ability to perform well under pressure, use good judgment, and be flexible and adaptable
Job Duties
- Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink goals
- Drive profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
- Use store forecasts and payroll budgets for scheduling to maximize productivity and meet goals
- Address financial and operational issues through reporting, store visits, and audits
- Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to enhance sales and guest service
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- Ensure prompt attendance and enforce attendance policies
- Attract, hire, and retain diverse top talent and address staffing needs
- Implement corrective actions for policy violations fairly and according to policies
- Build an engaged team with open communication and collaboration
- Create an inclusive environment encouraging growth and engagement
- Lead training, reviews, coaching, succession planning, and development plans
- Participate and ensure participation in ongoing brand and category education
- Promote teamwork and clear goal setting aligned with store and company objectives
- Execute guest engagement programs to drive business results
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards
- Enforce dress code and use scheduling tools effectively
- Prioritize and ensure completion of store tasks with management tools
- Protect assets by enforcing safety, inventory, cash management, and loss prevention
- Manage day-to-day inventory control and theft reporting
- Support adoption of initiatives and technology
- Communicate business trends, operational challenges, merchandise needs, and competitive landscape with field leadership
