Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a leadership role
- Minimum of 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- Ability to work various shifts and weekends
- Compliance with State alcohol serving age requirements where applicable
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach, use hands, bend, stoop
- Ability to taste, smell, verbally communicate
- Ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
- Ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor, stock, and register
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- College or culinary schooling preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong planning and organizational skills

- Excellent computer skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and legal requirements
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work of restaurant staff
- Appraise employee performance and provide rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
- Address employee complaints and resolve problems
- Shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance employee success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and operational initiatives to staff
- Occasionally assist with job duties as needed
- Promote sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- Maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors for guest and staff safety
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
- Manage labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
- Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
