Job Requirements
- At least six years of progressive hotel or related experience or a four-year college degree with four to five years of related experience or a two-year college degree with five to six years of related experience

Job Qualifications
- At least six years of progressive hotel or related field experience or a four-year college degree with four to five years of related experience or a two-year college degree with five to six years of related experience

Job Duties
- Tour operating departments daily and make operational adjustments via department heads
- conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions following Highgate standards
- meet all financial review deadlines and corporate-directed programs timely
- hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors
- ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and accounting procedures
- develop managers for advancement through competency and corporate training
- conduct daily HHBR meetings with the Director of Sales focusing on prospecting and account business
- actively participate in hotel sales efforts including client meetings and events
- participate in required M.O.D. coverage
- monitor and develop management trainees
- ensure compliance with Highgate policies and train new managers
- oversee and assist in hotel budgeting processes
- ensure training in service standards and compliance with Garden Standard of the Week
- foster a positive team environment focusing on guest service
- conduct regular room inspections with Housekeeping and Engineering
- ensure timely invoice processing following A/P processes
- submit financial documents to Corporate Office per accounting calendar
- maintain physical property cleanliness and preventive maintenance
- ensure guest and employee interactions are attentive and friendly
- forecast monthly financial positions and reforecast based on data analysis
- conduct management interviews and ensure hiring compliance
- interview final candidates for management vacancies
- perform Executive Committee performance appraisals
- coach, counsel, and discipline management staff
- perform duties requested by Vice President or Regional Director of Operations
- ensure fair and equitable treatment of employees
- engage clients and prospects on property to assist sales efforts
- be present in public areas during peak times greeting guests
- follow procedures for hotel safe security and audits
- conduct monthly credit meetings and manage credit policies
- complete corporate training and training certifications
- ensure scheduled meetings occur on property
