Job Requirements

  • Education and experience in hospitality management or related field
  • Previous 2+ years of General Manager experience within a busy Select Service Hotel or 4+ years as Assistant General Manager
  • Proficiency in computer and office applications
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively via email
  • Experience with hotel information and accounting systems
  • Availability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous 2+ years of General Manager experience within a busy Select Service Hotel
  • Or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager
  • Computer and office skills including proficiency in email communication and data analysis from spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • Premium brand experience preferred such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with ownership, sales teams, and corporate staff

Job Duties

  • Focus on and adhere to Crestline's key success measures such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction
  • Develop a staff optimization plan for all new and current leaders to ensure understanding of mission and tools for success within 30 days
  • Establish relationships with key players including hotel ownership and field/corporate staff within the first 30 days
  • Build positive relationships with onsite sales staff, regional directors of sales, and corporate sales and marketing leadership
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced hotel environment
  • Maximize potential of associates through effective leadership and team cohesion
  • Aggressively grow market share by competing with nearby hotels and expanding new prospects
