Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum 3 years general manager experience in quick service restaurant
  • California Food Safety Manager Certified
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Fluent in English
  • Basic math proficiency
  • Experience with POS and office software
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to transfer within 50 miles
  • Able to work 47.5 hours per week including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to perform standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Must handle emergency communications in timely manner
  • Willingness to work varied hours including early mornings and late evenings

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum 3 years of general manager experience in a fast-paced, high volume quick service restaurant
  • California Food Safety Manager Certification
  • Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
  • Proficient in food planning, preparation, purchasing, sanitation, and safety
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate POS system
  • Experience with office software, video conferencing, and email
  • Demonstrated high level leadership and effective feedback skills
  • Humble and willing to learn from team members
  • Empathetic with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proven organizational skills managing multifaceted teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt to scheduling, timekeeping, HRIS, and LMS software
  • Passionate about food and hospitality
  • Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to transfer to other locations within 50 miles
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant and make real-time decisions to ensure excellent guest experience and successful operations
  • Ensure a safe and productive work environment for team members
  • Produce and develop a work environment focused on team safety and wellbeing
  • Conduct regular safety assessments and investigations following incidents
  • Manage and develop all team members to meet executional and procedural standards
  • Interview, hire, train, and when necessary, terminate hourly team members
  • Conduct new hire orientations and oversee training
  • Provide ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations, and conduct performance reviews
  • Manage personnel records using HRIS and training using LMS
  • Oversee team member timecards, time-off requests, and staffing schedules
  • Ensure positive guest service and handle complaints appropriately
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and relevant laws
  • Supervise food preparation quality, portion control, and waste minimization
  • Estimate food needs and coordinate orders and deliveries
  • Manage financial aspects to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Complete financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and timely
  • Work with management team to meet or exceed financial and metrical goals
