Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
- Knowledge of all applicable laws and company policies
- Ability to manage food and labor costs
- Ability to mentor, coach, and discipline employees
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Proficient with computers
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Adherence to safety and health standards
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and communicate verbally
- Ability to meet visual requirements
- Must comply with state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance and address disciplinary actions including termination
- Shape restaurant culture and promote employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with duties as needed
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
- Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and scheduling
- Manage food and labor costs and review financial reports
- Oversee proper use of restaurant equipment
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Perform other duties as assigned
