Job Requirements
- Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
- Frequent bending and stooping required
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be able to hear well in noisy environments
Job Qualifications
- Four-year college degree preferred
- Minimum two years experience as a restaurant kitchen manager or assistant general manager
- Extensive knowledge of TGI Fridays recipes, policies, standards, and successful past performance
- Business acumen with ability to manage profit and loss, budgets, and financial analysis
- Capable of performing all functions required of hourly positions
- Knowledge of point of sale and back office management systems
Job Duties
- Manage all day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on guest experience
- Supervise and support 3-6 managers and all front and back of house hourly team members
- Manage all profit and loss centers
- Align all behavior with the Credo and Values
- Execute all brand standards through coaching and managing team members and managers
- Interact frequently with guests to ensure service standards and resolve complaints
- Use operational theories to proactively run shifts and prepare for service
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and traffic
- Oversee local and national marketing promotions
- Determine staffing needs and hire talented team members
- Develop high potential team members and managers
- Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Ensure a safe and clean environment
- Respond to guest service complaints
- Complete financial and payroll administrative duties
- Approve disciplinary actions related to termination
- Validate inventory according to company standards
- Ensure security procedures protect team members, guests, and assets
