Job Requirements

  • Previous 2+ years of General Manager experience within a busy Select Service Hotel required
  • or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager
  • Computer and office skills required
  • ability to communicate effectively through email and handle spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems pertinent to the brand
  • Premium brand experience highly preferred
  • Hotel experience required

Job Qualifications

  • or 4+ years experience as Assistant General Manager
  • Computer and office skills including effective email communication and ability to work with spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with hotel information and accounting systems relevant to the brand
  • Premium brand experience preferred such as Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, or IHG

Job Duties

  • Strong focus and adherence to Crestline's key success measures such as Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction
  • Staff optimization by developing plans for newly hired and current leaders to deliver unparalleled service within the first 30 days
  • Develop relationships with key players including Hotel Ownership, Field and Corporate Staff within the first 30 days
  • Build positive relationships with all Sales staff including onsite Sales, Regional Director of Sales, and Corporate Sales and Marketing Leadership
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution on the hotel floor
  • Maximize team potential and ensure cohesive associate engagement
  • Aggressively grow new market prospects and maintain current market share
