Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining preferred
  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to enforce health and safety policies

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff of the restaurant including executing company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and addressing complaints
  • Shape the culture ensuring high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies compliance
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Review financial reports and schedules
  • Manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control for food cost management
  • Optimize weekly labor schedules
  • Ensure proper use of equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
