Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of property management experience
- Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Commitment to company policies and ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience in property management especially multi-family housing
- Strong financial and budget management skills
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, and other relevant regulations
- Effective leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Provides input into the development of budgets for assigned properties by analyzing financial statements and market data
- Meets targeted revenues by setting rent rates and ensuring timely collection of rents and fees
- Approves vendor, contractor, and service provider invoices and manages related communications
- Controls expenditures within approved budgets and manages petty cash balances
- Oversees lease enforcement including application approvals, lease renewals, inspections, evictions, and collections
- Implements marketing and leasing strategies based on market and economic trend analysis
- Promotes resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, requests, and ensuring maintenance compliance
- Conducts regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appeal
- Supervises property staff by managing hiring, training, orientation, and performance
- Maintains client and owner relationships through property tours, updates, and responding to requests
