Job Requirements

  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Must be certified Moe's Manager
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience is a must
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check
  • Must have self-discipline, strong initiative, leadership ability and outgoing personality
  • Pleasant, polite manner with a neat, clean appearance
  • Effective motivator
  • Ability to handle the pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities and team members simultaneously
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to perform effective interviews
  • Ability to supervise 15-25 team members to achieve goals
  • Ability to work a weekly average of 50 hours including prolonged standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work with hot, cold and hazardous restaurant equipment

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints and take necessary actions to retain customers
  • provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • maintain an accurate staffing plan and conduct interviews following the four steps of staffing
  • develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • create a positive work environment known in the community as the place to work
  • enforce sanitary practices and maintain high scores in health and operational inspections
  • manage food flow from ordering to serving ensuring quality and low waste
  • ensure proper security and safety measures to protect guests, employees, and assets
  • manage shifts effectively and investigate issues from mystery shopper reports
  • adhere to standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • utilize monthly profit and loss reports to improve profitability
  • ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely
  • book spirit nights monthly and promote community involvement
