Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years managing a fast casual restaurant for a major chain or completed Rubio's General Manager training program
  • Working knowledge of restaurant management aspects
  • Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing
  • Basic math skills to complete financial paperwork
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
  • Reliable transportation with ability to travel within district
  • Ability to maintain patience and work closely with co-workers
  • Strong organizational leadership and multitasking abilities
  • High concentration and attention to detail for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Control profit & loss statement ensuring restaurant meets or beats budget goals
  • Prepare and manage contingency plans for operational changes
  • Research and implement sales and marketing opportunities
  • Oversee vendor efficiency and quality standards
  • Interact with guests resolving complaints and ensuring exceptional service
  • Deploy and manage team members according to restaurant performance
  • Coach and direct team adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Evaluate and document team member performance including reviews and disciplinary action
  • Manage team member turnover by ensuring satisfaction and setting goals
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and operational safety policies
  • Control inventory levels and inspect for quality standards
  • Complete daily financial and operational paperwork
  • Manage cash handling procedures including auditing records
  • Lead training and development of team members focusing on operational efficiency
