Job Requirements

  • Must possess ServSafe certification
  • Must be Moe's Manager certified
  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to handle pressures of coordinating activities and team members
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews
  • Ability to supervise 15-25 team members
  • Self-discipline and strong initiative
  • Pleasant and polite manner with neat appearance

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience is a must
  • A combination of related experience and education will be considered
  • Knowledge of computers (MS Word and Excel)
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check
  • ServSafe certification
  • Moe's Manager certification

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • Respond to guest complaints and take actions to ensure repeat customer visits
  • Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • Maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing needs plan
  • Interview prospective employees following the established staffing steps
  • Develop team members with ongoing feedback and conduct performance reviews
  • Create a positive work environment recognized in the community
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
  • Maintain a 90% or higher score on health inspections and Steritech inspections
  • Ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards
  • Manage food flow to ensure quality, proper portioning and low waste
  • Ensure proper security procedures to protect guests, employees and assets
  • Maintain a safe environment to reduce injury risk and complete injury reports as needed
  • Effectively manage shifts and address issues from Gotta Know or mystery shopper reports
  • Adhere to Sterling standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Use monthly P&L reports to analyze profitability and implement improvement plans
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reporting
  • Book one spirit night per month according to policies
  • Promote high community involvement by the restaurant and personnel
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested
