Job Requirements

  • ServSafe certification
  • Moe's Manager certification
  • Ability to handle prolonged standing, bending, stooping and lifting items up to 50 pounds
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Self-discipline and strong initiative
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to conduct effective interviews
  • Capability to supervise 15 to 25 team members
  • Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week with variable hours occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience is a must
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • Ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in quality, service and cleanliness and respond to guest complaints
  • Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • Maintain an accurate staffing plan, interview prospective employees and ensure staffing procedures are followed
  • Develop team members by providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews
  • Enforce food safety standards and ensure compliance with health inspections and Sterling operational standards
  • Manage food flow to ensure quality, proper portioning and minimize waste
  • Ensure security procedures are in place to protect guests, employees and assets
  • Manage effective shift operations
  • Investigate and address complaints from mystery shopper reports
  • Adhere to financial goals including sales, labor hours and food costs
  • Analyze monthly profit and loss to improve profitability
  • Complete financial reporting accurately and on time
  • Organize one spirit night per month and maintain community involvement
