Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of food service or restaurant supervisory experience
- Must obtain Food Handler Certification during onboarding if not already certified
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must meet all health and legal regulations related to food service and safety
- Must demonstrate leadership and team management skills
- Must have good hygiene and food handling practices
- Spanish speaking is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of previous food service or restaurant supervisory experience
- Food Handler Certification required or to be obtained during onboarding training
- Experience using a computer and register (POS) system
- Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays
- Spanish speaking a plus
- Proven leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain calm during busy periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Wingstop
- Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling team members in partnership with the District Manager
- Works with both the District Manager and Human Resources to manage performance including coaching, counseling and disciplining team members
- Communicate in a timely and effective manner with District Manager about operational and human resources issues
- Perform regular restaurant inspections to ensure team and restaurant is meeting standards
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
- Tracks inventory and ensures accurate record keeping
- Identifies and resolve issues with food preparation and helps team handle customer service issues
- Maintains safe, secure and healthy facility environment by following sanitation standards, safety procedures and complying with health and legal regulations
- Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for new job responsibilities and exploring opportunities to add value
- Meet restaurant operating policies and standards including quality food products, cash handling and store safety
- Maintain operational standards and communicate maintenance problems to Facilities Department
- Use Company provided tools to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive results through team collaboration to achieve store metrics
