Job Requirements

  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • Must be certified Moe's Manager
  • Self-discipline and strong initiative
  • Leadership ability and outgoing personality
  • Pleasant, polite manner with neat appearance
  • Effective motivator and good communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and handle pressure
  • Ability to interview and supervise 15-25 team members
  • Able to meet physical demands of prolonged standing and lifting
  • Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week with schedule flexibility

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience is a must
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • Respond to guest complaints and take actions to regain guest loyalty
  • Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • Maintain staffing plans including interviewing and following staffing protocols
  • Develop all team members through feedback and performance reviews
  • Create an attractive work environment recognized in the community
  • Enforce sanitary practices and maintain high health inspection scores
  • Ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling Operational Standards
  • Manage food flow from ordering to serving to minimize waste and ensure quality
  • Ensure proper security procedures to protect guests, employees and assets
  • Promote a safe environment and complete necessary injury reports
  • Manage shifts effectively and respond to performance assessments
  • Adhere to financial standards to meet sales, labor, and cost goals
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and implement profitability plans
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting including payroll and invoices
  • Organize community involvement events including spirit nights
  • Maintain a positive presence in the local community
  • Perform other duties as assigned
