Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • knowledge of company policies and applicable laws
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage staff and operations
  • proficiency in scheduling and inventory management
  • commitment to safety and health standards
  • availability to work various shifts and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for entire shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, bend and stoop
  • ability to use vision and communicate verbally
  • able to access all restaurant areas
  • adherence to state alcohol serving laws for applicable positions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance
  • reward and discipline employees including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and variances to management
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests while resolving food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost control and profit management
  • ensure OSHA, health, and safety compliance
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash handling, inventory, labor scheduling, and food costs
  • manage labor and inventory using company tools
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facilities and assets
  • perform additional duties as assigned
