Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- College and/or culinary schooling preferred
- Ability to comply with state-mandated alcohol serving age requirements for manager roles in applicable locations
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Dedication to providing exceptional guest service
- Proficient computer skills

Job Duties
- Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign and direct work
- Appraise performance
- Reward and discipline employees including termination as necessary
- Address complaints and resolve problems
- Shape a positive restaurant culture and ensure a high level of employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to promote job success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a warm, hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
- Cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
- Assist team members with job duties occasionally
- Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- Maintain operational efficiency including cost and profit controls
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- Control cash, inventory, schedules, and financial reporting
- Manage P&L including food, labor, and carryout costs
- Control food costs by following recipes and portion control
- Monitor and optimize labor schedules using company tools
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned
