Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in restaurant leadership
- 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- ability to work various shifts and weekends
- compliance with state mandated age requirements for alcohol serving where applicable
- physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods
- ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- ability to reach with hands and use hands to handle objects
- ability to bend and stoop
- ability to taste and smell
- ability to verbally communicate
- vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a leadership role
- 4-6 years of prior experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties
- manage daily operations and staff of the restaurant
- execute all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance, reward and discipline employees including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape culture of restaurant and ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members
- create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and forecast variances
- cascade corporate programs to management and staff
- assist team members occasionally with job duties
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
- ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies are met
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- control operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management, scheduling, and financial reporting
- manage P&L including food cost, labor cost, and controllable items
- control food costs through recipes and portion control
- manage labor costs with optimized scheduling and monitoring
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform all other duties as assigned
