Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience preferably in a restaurant environment or as an El Pollo Loco Assistant Manager
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Must obtain Serve Safe Certification

Job Duties
- Strategically manage, coach, and recognize team member performance to drive efficient restaurant operations
- Execute and train team on opening and closing procedures according to company policies
- Optimize labor and workforce planning through effective team deployment and scheduling
- Provide hands-on support by covering all restaurant workstations and team member breaks
- Maintain guest service and speed of service to achieve company timeliness goals
- Schedule workforce ensuring labor hours align with sales projections and labor guidelines
- Oversee hiring processes including interviews, references, I-9 verification, and new hire orientations
