Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience preferably in a restaurant environment or as an El Pollo Loco Assistant Manager
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  • Must obtain Serve Safe Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Possess valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

Job Duties

  • Strategically manage, coach, and recognize team member performance to drive efficient restaurant operations
  • Execute and train team on opening and closing procedures according to company policies
  • Optimize labor and workforce planning through effective team deployment and scheduling
  • Provide hands-on support by covering all restaurant workstations and team member breaks
  • Maintain guest service and speed of service to achieve company timeliness goals
  • Schedule workforce ensuring labor hours align with sales projections and labor guidelines
  • Oversee hiring processes including interviews, references, I-9 verification, and new hire orientations
