Job Requirements

  • Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to two minutes at a time
  • Can work outside for prolonged periods regardless of weather
  • Can lift up to 50lbs
  • Can stand comfortably for hours
  • Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder
  • Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean
  • Can safely walk among cars in the drive-thru line
  • Must be available to perform scheduled shifts and administrative duties
  • Must be willing to adapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40+ team members
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • Ability to work carefully and quickly with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
  • Ability to safely operate any position in the stand during peak hours
  • Effective management of multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong skills in leading and directing various personality types under pressure
  • Ability to assertively and graciously confront coworkers to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
  • Maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
  • Provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
  • Work with their crew's needs and availability to create a weekly shift schedule, maintaining budgeted cost of labor while ensuring quick wait times and short lines
  • Track and order necessary inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment, while maintaining a low cost of goods sold through eliminating waste and accurate counting
  • Ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for their stand
  • Work in a self-sufficient manner and involve the district coach when required
  • Ensure crew is knowledgeable and meeting all health and safety requirements
  • Always develop new leaders to step into future roles
  • Promptly implement and communicate directives from upper management
  • Thoughtfully delegate tasks to leadership team and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and appropriate development
  • Responsible for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions related to shift leads and baristas
