Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • minimum four years related experience
  • knowledge of hotel operational procedures and management
  • strong communication skills
  • leadership and team management ability
  • computer proficiency including MS office and property management systems
  • ability to analyze financial information and prepare budgets
  • knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
  • physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality hotel management or business administration preferred
  • certified hospitality administrator designation preferred
  • minimum four years work experience
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • professional appearance and presentation
  • vocational education apprentice training on-the-job training and essential experience in hotel management
  • proficient in MS office yield management systems PMS central reservation payroll and company-issued communication programs
  • strong reasoning ability and decision-making skills
  • strong management skills for delegating work
  • ability to work under stress and communicate effectively
  • adaptability to changing activities and interruptions
  • availability to work nights weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform the role of standard bearer ensuring compliance with GHG basics and standards
  • communicate and implement general manager’s standard operating procedures and performance criteria
  • create an environment that assures consistent guest satisfaction
  • monitor hotel performance through guest satisfaction systems and financial reports and initiate corrective action
  • maintain product and service quality standards and investigate complaints
  • execute marketing sales and operational activities in line with business plans
  • ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain community public affairs involvement
