Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, or business administration preferred
  • Minimum four years work experience in hotel management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training in hotel skills and management
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems
  • Ability to interpret financial information and prepare budgets
  • Strong management and delegation skills
  • Ability to work effectively under stress
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, or business administration preferred
  • Certified Hospitality Administrator designation preferred but not required
  • Minimum four years work experience in hotel management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional appearance and presentation
  • Vocational education or training in hotel management
  • Proficient in MS Office, yield management, property management, central reservation, payroll, and internet/email systems
  • Strong reasoning and decision-making abilities
  • Effective in stressful environments and adaptable to changes
  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform the role of standard bearer ensuring hotel staff achieve and maintain global hotel group’s basics
  • Perform all criteria in global hotel group’s general manager’s standard operating procedures satisfactorily
  • Create an operating environment ensuring consistent guest satisfaction
  • Monitor hotel performance through guest satisfaction systems and financial reports and initiate corrective actions
  • Maintain product and service quality standards by investigating complaints and conducting evaluations
  • Execute marketing, sales, and operational activities to meet business plan targets
  • Ensure hotel operations comply with government regulations and company policies
