Job Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Hospitality or related field
  • Previous hotel management experience required
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in financial planning and budgeting
  • Ability to manage and lead a diverse team
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates
  • Tour and visually inspect property daily
  • Monitor cost control, property condition, cleanliness, quality of product, and service
  • Supervise development and revision of business plan, budget, financial reports, and forecasts
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans
  • Review occupancy and revenue reports and partner with revenue management
  • Maintain positive rapport with associates and customers
  • Handle associate issues appropriately with human resources
  • Participate in community affairs and maintain positive public image
  • Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed
  • Travel for corporate meetings and sales trips
  • Monitor quality assurance scores and guest feedback
  • Create action plans to improve guest service score
  • Oversee sales department operations
  • Participate in community networking
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
